Autobiography

Hello, my name is Kamy and I'm a digital illustrator, educator, and an art activist and group organizer.

Currently teaching in California State University, Madera College, Reedley College, and West Hills

I'm proficient in digital tools like Photoshop, Paint Tool Sai, Procreate, Illustrator, and more. I like to dabble in other programs for fun.

I’m also a business owner and cofounder of ART BLOCK FRESNO, a new organization that provides resources, networks, and space to local artists. I’m a member and working with RootAccess Hackerspace to provide these resources for local artist from Fresno and surrounding counties.

I previously went to California State University Fresno for my undergrad and I'm a proud resident of the Central Valley of California.

Hello, my name is Kamy, I'm an artist, business woman, and illustrator.

I'm currently an adjunct professor in the Central Valley of California and Madera Community College Center. I have an an MFA in illustration from the Academy of Art San Francisco. I also work with a variety of clients, ranging from children, adults, college students, and people with intellectual disabilities.

My favorite tools are:

  • Crochet

I previously went to California State University Fresno for my undergraduate and Madera Community College Center. I'm a proud resident of the Central Valley in California and I drive often between Madera/Fresno for work and for family. My favorite subjects are about my cultural identity, LGBTQA+ rights, animals, and anything adorable.

My main goal is to educate those in the main foundations in art and to try to encourage innovation during the art process.
